A very scenic route that will show you the beauty of Lake Maggiore from every point of view.
The tour involves going from the Lombard shore to the Piedmont shore, crossing the bridge over the Ticino at Sesto Calende.
Going up in the direction of Verbania, and about 10 km after passing Arona, you turn left, to travel up a 6-km climb that makes the most of the view of the lake.
From Verbania, with about a 10-minute ferry ride, you return to the Lombard shore, to travel the last 20 km of lakeside that takes you back to the Belvedere di Ranco.
